Free Leaf Drop-off Card Offer

Provided by Canberra Sand and Gravel, Vicars Street, Mitchell ACT 2911.

To claim your $10 Leaf Drop-off Card, proceed to the Centre office. The card can be used for up to five visits. Cards are stamped after each leaf drop. Please indicate to staff that you are participating in The Leaf Collective Project. Staff will check your address and ask you to scan a QR code. Show staff the QR confirmation message from your phone to receive your card. Leaves are taken to the drop off point and your card punched according to the load’s size. Load limits apply and should be no larger than a single axle box trailer.

Leaf Bag Drop-off and Pick-up Service Offer

Autumn leaves are a valuable resource. During the pilot, Capital Scraps Composting will take your leaf contributions and add them to their community food waste composting systems. The food and leaf waste are turned into nutrient rich soil amendment, which is then donated back to community gardens, schools and contributing members.

For the Leaf Collective Pilot, a Leaf Collection Bag Drop off (2 x 900lt reusable leaf bags) and Pick up Service has been established at a discounted cost of $25 per service. Regular price $35 per service.

Terms and Conditions:

  • Offer is available to Ainslie residents only
  • The offer is valid from 19 April to 1 June, 2021
  • Limited to one service per household during the pilot
  • Drop offs/pickups are capped at 5 x services per week. Social Marketing @ Griffith reserve the right to suspend the offers once weekly limits are reached.
  • The preceding week’s quota will be reinstated every Monday.
